Fashion Victims is a social awareness campaign organized by a group of students in order to fight against animal cruelty in fashion making, one step at a time.
Fashion Victims focuses its attention on four species of animals which commonly suffer for the fashion industry in Malaysia: Crocodile, Python, Angora Rabbit and Cow. These animals are killed simply to satisfy the society who spend their wealth for their fashion needs. Most of the consumers don’t often think about how their shoes, clothes, and other fashion products come from. The ugly truth is that billions of animals have suffered and died. They have been treated in a cruel way for fashion.
Fashion Victims works through public education and allow people to understand the truth behind the fashion industry in our society. It also allows people to change their attitudes toward the suffering of animals and hope to cut down the numbers of animal skin as fashion products.
